book Cover Design - Exceptions Journal

This is the cover of the first print volume of Exceptions Journal, an art and literary journal for students with visual disabilities that aimed to open all of our eyes and minds to new ways to see. I designed the cover using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.

The iris of the eye is reminiscent of a color blindness test, and the black dots in the center of the eye spell "Exceptions" in braille. The resulting vibrant, visually stimulating design brought Exceptions' mission and character to life.
